With our extensive knowledge and experience we can assist qualified clients to gain employment in the Canadian job market, we also provide academic counselling to potential international students who wish gain admission into top Canadian colleges and universities. Our Certified and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant also assists clients with all permanent residence applications, temporary residence applications, citizenship applications and also Authorizations to Return to Canada for persons who have been removed or deported from Canada.
The Role
This is a contract position based remotely. Reporting directly to our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant you will be required to form relationships with potential clients who wish to work, live, visit and study in Canada. Specifically, you will act as an agent for Rubic Immigration and Settlement Ltd. This position requires high levels of developing and delivering services to the community, so it is expected that the right individual has superior communication skills, experience in marketing and can handle complex circumstances. The position does not require any immigration counselling or direct help with applications, but rather advising potential clients of our services and follow through until clients are retained by our company. Your efforts will be rewarded as this a commission based position. You will be remunerated at a competitive rate for each client that you refer to us and are retained by our office. You are expected to follow the organizations mode of work to ensure a coordinated service delivery model.
Job Requirements/Details
Establishing and building relationships with potential clients that could benefit from utilizing our services through networking, and other creative methods
Educating potential clients on existing immigration programs and the benefits for utilizing them
Managing relationships and serving as a local point of contact for organizations who partner with us
Ability to keep accurate records and manage a high caseload
Working knowledge of or the ability to learn Canadian Immigration processes, programs and streams;
Completed a post-secondary education in business, administration, legal or public administration or regulatory program;
Remote Position with expectation of daily field time spent working assigned territory
Must be outgoing, a self starter, organized and self-motivated
Personal Characteristics
Proficiency in windows-based software and other standard office technology.
A strong team player, with a strong inclination toward a collaborative work-style, who is quick to help others; has and shows empathy for others.
Able to express ideas clearly and effectively, orally and in writing.
Excellent organizational / time management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality
Basic knowledge and understanding of the legal system in relation to family law and police clearances
Ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting directly to our Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant you will be required to form relationships with potential students who wish to study in Canada and eventually become permanent residents. Specifically, you will act as an agent for Rubic Immigration and Settlement Ltd. This position requires high levels of developing and delivering services to the community, so it is expected that the right individual has superior communication skills, experience in marketing and can handle complex circumstances. The position does not require any immigration counselling or direct help with immigration processes and applications, but rather meeting with students to provide developmental advising that enables them to define and develop realistic educational and career goals, and plan an educational program consistent with their abilities, interests and resources.
Job Requirements/Details
Promptly responds to (and continually engages) new and existing prospective students and guides them through the decision-making process using a consultative (personalized, constructive, engaging, motivating, and informative) sales approach
Research, identify, and recommend appropriate Canadian education programs for potential and existing students
Thorough knowledge of Canadian post-secondary education systems
Help students to understand the complete requirements of their program(s) of interest, including admission requirements and prerequisites, and to develop an academic plan to facilitate the completion of that program
Ability to develop a peer mentorship program for students
Remote Position with expectation of daily field time spent working assigned territory
Familiarity with IELTS, CELPIP English tests
Comprehensive knowledge of labor market conditions and or job prospects and trends in all provinces in Canada and applying knowledge of the labor market to help clients make realistic decisions
Collects, organizes and analyzes information about clients through multiple sources in order to advise on employment and licensing
Knowledge of licensing processes for regulated occupations
Experience
Working in higher education with recruitment and/or admissions responsibility
Working with international students in a higher education or TESOL setting
Working in inside sales, or business development
Selling adult learning and/or workforce development solutions (certificates or degree)
Education
College or University qualifications in Education, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field
